JH Peterson was educated as an engineer, but chose photography as a career. His specialty is getting close to the action of competitive sailing and to capture its drama and excitement. He has followed the important races in the waters off San Francisco, Miami, Newport and many other sailing hot spots, and his work has been featured in virtually every sailing magazine. JH balances his action pictures with tranquil coastal scenery. It hard to say which subject he has covered better or loved more. petersonjh@hotmail.com ~ phone (612) 910-1716 |

Denise Drapeau’s love for the sea is evident in almost every picture she takes. "When you have the Ocean and Man’s attempt to conquer it", she says, "you don’t need any other subject matter." Based in Newport, Rhode Island, she has been able to capture the excitement of competitive sailing in the Narragansett Bay, and her work is known to some the World’s best known sailors, including Ted Turner and Dennis Connor. But her photography is not limited to New England. She loves the colors of the Caribbean. |
